This is the last day of having a cast on!
Alana has been an absolute trooper with this thing on. She has learned to use it as a weapon toward anyone and anything in the way. We have also learned what a complete shock it is at 2 in the morning to be hit in the head with a cast in the middle of a deep sleep...Eric and I have both experienced that! Alana was also very protective of her cast. She did not like it to get dirty in any way. If anything at all would get on it, she would come to me as fast as she could so I could scrub it clean! She has not been the best sleeper since having her cast on either and we look forward to returning to our sleep filled nights! She also hasn't been a huge fan of bathes as of lately because of the saran wrap process that occurs prior to entering the tub. But we are sure she will enjoy them again soon!
We love you Alana and you have been such a good little trooper!
