Christmas Fun

Mackenzie after her Polar Express Party at Kindergarten

Our own attempt at making a gingerbread house

Alana enjoying a holiday treat

Oh the JOY that Ernie was brought to Alana this year.
The girls look for him each morning to see the mischief he has gotten himself into and then Alana will carry him around all day long!

I typically have the camera around everywhere I go so I am not sure how this Christmas season doesn't have much documentation. But it's been a wonderful month. We started some new traditions as well as kept around most of the old. Here are some of the highlights:
Opening a Christmas book each day of the month as our countdown to Christmas
Our chocolate Christmas countdown
Playing in the snow
Visiting the lights and reindeer at Thanksgiving point
Enjoying hot chocolate floats from TGP
Christmas cards in the mail
Dropping off treats to our neighbors and friends
The doorbell ringing and seeing friends drop by
FHE lessons on Christmas
Decorating the Tree and hanging the Christmas Star
Driving by our house lit up with Christmas lights
Listening to Christmas music and hearing the girls practice new Christmas songs they've learned at school
Wrapping presents and keeping secrets
Christmas shopping
Amazon deliveries
Watching Hallmark movies together
Hearing the excitement of the girls and most importantly

Reflecting on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ
