We took the girls rock wall climbing over track break and they had such a great time. When we got there Mackenzie insisted that she got to go first. I was quite surprised at her ambition but she got geared up and started to climb. She had a little help from Eric to get started and was ready to come down after about 8 feet up. She knew the goal for her was 12 feet and so she got back up and tried again. She made it up all 12 feet!

Alexis was next. She was like spider woman climbing up the wall. She had gone to a birthday party and had climbed before, so she knew what to expect. She didn't hesitate and didn't miss a beat. Up, up, up!

Megan was last to try. She made it up half way her first try but was determined to get that dollar. She knew she could do it and with a little encouragement she tried again. She paused a couple of times to look down but never gave up! She made it all the way to the top, rang the bell,

and turned around and gave us a huge smile!

I love having my children experience new things. It was a great experience for the girls to watch each other and cheer one another on. There were some moments where Eric and I were doing some coaching from down below as to where to put their feet or just encouraging them. I know that's how life is.We are here to cheer one another on. There is nothing greater on earth than FAMILY!!!
