The last weekend of summer we decided we would live it up!!! Due to the flood in our basement and being due with the baby in 3 weeks it had to be local! Eric took Friday off work and we had an absolute BLAST! We went shopping at the mall, ate lunch at California Pizza Company, the girls went to gymnastics, had all the floors in our house cleaned (wahoo), went to Jump on It, stayed in the Marriott in Orem (the best Marriott ever!!!) went swimming in the pool, ate Chinese food for dinner, stayed up really late and watched our new favorite movie Soul Surfer....that was the first day. On day 2 we woke up and ate breakfast at the hotel, went to the BYU football practice--go Cougs, ate lunch at the Cougar Eat, stopped for snow cones on the way home, and then finished the night at our wards summer carnival!!! The girls thanked us over and over for taking them on such a great vacation...we didn't realize how easy vacations can be when you stay right in our hometown!!! We laughed so much and it was so wonderful just being together. I can't believe summer is over but we had such a great time we decided this will be our new family tradition!
